Andhra Bank Recruitment 2012 for OBC Candidates based on IBPS Score

Recruitment of 89 Probationary Officers in Andhra Bank based on IBPS Score:


Andhra Bank a leading Public sector and one of the participant banks in the IBPS Common Written Exam 2011 has invited Online Applications from the Indian Citizens who belong to Other Backward Classes (OBC) and who have appeared in the IBPS PO Common Written Exam 2011 and have been declared successful by IBPS.The candidates must have valid IBPS score card in order to apply for the post of Probationary Officers in Andhra Bank.

Vacancies : Andhra Bank requires 89 Probationary Officers

Pay Scale: Rs 14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700

Probation Period: 2 years.Candidates finally selected for the post of Probationary Officers in Andhra banks will have to sign a bond of minimum 5 years service in Andhra Bank or to pay bank a sum of Rs 75,000.

Eligibility Criteria (As on 01.07.2011): Successful OBC students in the IBPS PO Common Written Exam 2011 must posses the following eligibility criteria.

Nationality : Must be an Indian Citizen

Category: Other Backward Classes

Age Limit: Min : 21 years and Max: 30 years

Educational Qualifications: A graduate degree with 60% marks from a recognised university of India.

Essential Requirement: IBPS TWS Score : 141 or above and Knowledge of Computers is essential.

Applications Fees: An application fees of Rs 200 will have to be deposited in any of the branches of Andhra bank through a Challan form that can be downloaded from the Bank's Website (www.andhrabank.in) or Deposit the fees through the NEFT at any bank branch in India

Procedure for Applying: Interested OBC candidates who meet the above mentioned requirements and eligibility criteria must apply Online at the Andhra Bank's Official Website (www.andhrabank.in) between 23.01.2012 to 14.02.2012.The Detailed Procedure for submitting the Online Application,  must be checked by the candidates at the Complete Advertisement given at the end of this post.

Selection Procedure:  The selection procedure for the selection of Probationary Officers in Andhra Bank shall consists of GD and Interview The final selection is based on the following equation.

(IBPS Score + GD/ Interview) Marks = Final Merit
